Symposium on Advancing Healthcare Innovation on Cardiovascular Disease

The Advanced Biomedical Instrumentation Centre (ABIC) is delighted to announce the successful completion of the “Advanced Healthcare Innovation on Cardiovascular Disease Symposium" held on 17 January 2024, at the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks (HKSTP).

This ground-breaking symposium aimed to foster collaborations among experts from diverse disciplines, facilitating discussions to explore the latest research advancements in Cardiovascular Disease (CVD), the leading cause of global morbidity and mortality. 

The symposium featured presentations on the emerging trends, diagnostic techniques, and the therapeutic approaches from a lineup of esteemed speakers, widely recognized as pioneers in their respective domains:

• Prof. Andreas Bausch (TUM)
• Prof. David Mooney (Harvasrd SEAS)
• Prof. Hung-Fat Tse (HKU)
