Job Responsibilities:

They should also be self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility, be a good team player with the ability to handle multi-tasks, be attentive to details and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

The appointee will handle project-related coordination, administration and documents work and perform other duties as assigned. Experiences and good writing skills in drafting proposals are advantage. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends. • Providing technical solutions for ongoing R&D projects

• Writing reports relevant to the projects, preparing paper publications and presentations and patent filing, as well as delivering convincing technical pitches to collaborators and partners
• Handling other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Skills and Requirements:

Senior Technical Officer / Technical Officer / Senior Technical Assistant / Technical Assistant (Ref.: H01/2024/085)

Job Responsibilities:

The appointee will report to the Research Director and the Technical Manager and be responsible for supporting daily operations of laboratories, with on-job training to be provided, duties including:

• Assist in handling routine laboratory tasks to ensure a safe and clean working environment
• Manage the procurement of lab consumables and equipment
• Provide technical support and training on lab equipment
• Assist in record keeping and data entry
• Keep close communications with equipment manufacturers and coordinate the delivery and installation
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements:

• Field of Study: A recognized diploma or above in Medical Laboratory, Life Science, Biological, Biotechnology, Biomedical or any related disciplines or a higher certificate in these subjects with 3 year solid experience in relevant fields

The appointee will report to the Research Director and the Technical Manager and be responsible for supporting daily operations of laboratories with IT support, with on-job training to be provided, duties including:

• PC installation & maintenance
• Setup and configuration of end-user computer hardware, software and devices
• Good knowledge in Windows OS and M365
• Maintain Company web page
• Familiar with programming languages, including PHP, HTML, CSS and Javascript
• Conduct program testing, system testing and user acceptance
• Zoom meeting support

• Support the procurement process

• Working on a collaborative project on developing new and automated strategies to establish complex respiratory organoid models for disease modeling and drug screening.

Skills and Requirements:

• Field of study: PhD in a subject relevant to the project, such as molecular and cell biology, genetics, or biomedical engineering, or be due to complete a PhD within 6 months.
• Preferably with research experience in disease modeling, sterile culture techniques, stem cell culture, and organoids.
• Research experience in tissue analysis by immunohistochemistry and light microscopy techniques, cell biological assays including live imaging and biochemical readouts would also be useful.
