Pitching Corner

On December 3, 2024, the 2nd Cohort of the ABIC Pitching Corner, proudly supported by the Harvard Club of Hong Kong, was a remarkable event with over hundred participants! The Pitching Corner serves as a vital platform for ABIC young researchers to present their innovative ideas and achievements to potential partners. Based on feedback received, we will refine our development for optimal product-market fit.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our guests, including investors, industrial experts, medical professions, and our faculty investigators, Prof. David Weitz from Harvard University and Prof. Andreas Bausch from TUM. Their invaluable insights and constructive feedback enriched the event, demonstrating a commitment to fostering innovation and supporting emerging talent.

Congratulations to the winners: the Most Favorite Award went to the project " Next-generation PCR: Revolutionary Microfluidics Approach for Efficient Multiplex In Vitro Diagnostics," presented by Dr. Yulin ZHANG, Sia and supervised by Dr. Wenshan Zheng, while the Talent Pitching Award, given to the project with the highest score from our judges, was awarded to “3D biomimetic personalized drug screening platform for Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML)", presented by Dr. Kalyn Cheung, Dr. Jonny Wong and supervised by Prof. Barbara Chan. We appreciate all participants' outstanding contributions and look forward to seeing these innovative ideas thrive!
