ABIC internship closing ceremony

The curtains have closed on the 3rd year of the Advanced Biomedical Instrumentation Centre (ABIC)'s internship program, and what a remarkable journey it's been! 🎊

This year, we have had a significant increase in interns. They all come from local and world-famous universities, such as Tsinghua University, the University of Chicago, Stanford University, the University of Oxford, and London's Global University.

The closing ceremony, held on 22 August 2024, was graced by an esteemed lineup of distinguished guests. Prof. Anderson Shum, Centre Director of ABIC, kicked off the event with an inspiring opening remark. Ms. Winnie Chan, Assistant Commissioner for Innovation and Technology (Research Clusters) of ITC, delivered a thought-provoking keynote speech. Prof. David Weitz from Harvard SEAS, provided insightful closing remarks.

We were also honored to have Prof. Ken Wong, Executive Director of HKLSS, witnessed the graduation of our talented interns. The interns shared their transformative experiences and learnings from this enriching journey. It was a joy to see them mingling and engaging with our esteemed guests.
