Job Description:

• Responsible for daily operations and maintenance of the cleanroom
• Lead the creation and implementation of cutting-edge laboratory operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Provide expert guidance and supervision to ensure the laboratory maintains the highest standards of performance
• Manage and ensure safety of cleanroom
• Purchase and repair equipment
• Deliver comprehensive equipment operation training and safety training to cleanroom users
• Assess and optimize laboratory processes, introducing new technologies and methods to boost productivity and efficiency
• Coordinate with the Safety Office on chemical handling and disposal protocols

Skills and Requirements:

• Field of Study: PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science or related disciplines
• 10+ of experience of laboratory experience, showcasing your deep understanding of laboratory operations and best practices
• Strong knowledge of various characterization techniques is essential
• Solid hands-on experience on device fabrication and vacuum deposition

• Working on a collaborative project on developing new and automated strategies to establish complex respiratory organoid models for disease modeling and drug screening.

• Field of study: PhD in a subject relevant to the project, such as molecular and cell biology, genetics, or biomedical engineering, or be due to complete a PhD within 6 months.
• Preferably with research experience in disease modeling, sterile culture techniques, stem cell culture, and organoids.
• Research experience in tissue analysis by immunohistochemistry and light microscopy techniques, cell biological assays including live imaging and biochemical readouts would also be useful.
