Job Description
- Develop and optimize novel lipid drug delivery vehicles for the encapsulation of different therapeutic cargos.
- Perform experiments to analyze lipid vesicle properties, optimize lipid formulation and assess delivery performance in vitro.
- Conduct experiments and analyze/interpret results from research projects independently, preparing comprehensive and reliable experimental records.
- Design and work with CDMO/CRO to execute pre-clinical studies to evaluate the safety and efficacy of novel lipid drug delivery vehicles.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team, engaging in regular communication to update on research progress, including presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in lipid drug delivery and pre-clinical research methodologies.

Requirements
- PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, biomedical engineering, biomedical sciences, chemistry, microbiology or related fields.
- Applicants with an MSc and additional experience in pre-clinical drug development will be considered.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin), with excellent communication skills that are clear and concise.
- Strong academic credentials, innovative mindset, ability to work under pressure and independently, sense of responsibility, eagerness to learn, and effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Research experience in translation research/pre-clinical drug development.

Desirable Experience
- Lipid chemistry, drug formulation principles, and analytical techniques.
